I started Central Coast Functional Health because I realized I wasn’t the only woman being told her labs were “normal” while she still didn’t feel well. Women’s health can be complex and frustrating, often leaving you feeling alone or unheard. Why am I so tired? Why can’t I sleep? Where did this anxiety come from? I knew there had to be answers, so with my degree in Kinesiology, I pursued training in Functional Diagnostic Nutrition and Breast Thermography.Raising two boys while navigating conventional medicine also left me searching for answers, especially after one of my sons was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes at the age of 3. I knew there had to be more to health than what we were being offered in the doctor’s office, and over time, I discovered that there was. My son and I have worked together for decades to support his health, maintaining an average A1C of 6.0, most recently reducing his insulin needs by 30%, and building strong lifelong habits. Today, he’s thriving as an engineer, surfer, hiker, and avid mountain biker. Nothing makes a mother happier than seeing her child healthy and fully living life. After more than 20 years of challenges, learning, and growth, I’ve come to this work with the tools and experience to help create meaningful change.You deserve answers, and I’m here to help you find them. From there, we build your personalized protocol with targeted lifestyle and supplement recommendations. And I don't just hand you a plan—I partner with you throughout your healing journey, offering feedback and course corrections along the way.
